The ABC of Parenthood… Baby outings

As your baby grows, you can start to vary the outings and activities, no matter where you live. You don’t have to wait until they’re mature enough to do them. Especially since in most places, until they a certain age, these activities can be free. Might as well enjoy them, right?   Of course, I’m …

Once upon a time in…Montreal

We are a French expat family who have been living in Montreal for 9 years now. Moreover, my sons and I have just become Canadian citizens!  Whoot whoot!  We love living in the city of Montreal. It’s such a great place to raise a family. As much as we love it, it doesn’t seem to …

The A B C of Parenthood … Cloth Diapers

Cloth Diapers – The Myths Eywh, cloth diapers, that’s nasty was I told.  Well not at all actually, not more than a disposable one! For Junior, I wanted to try cloth diapers (15 years ago), but I was (too easily) disuaded, and it seemed complicated.   For Blondie Bear, it was a whole other story. My …

Who am I?

Anne-Charlotte Passera
Anne-Charlotte Passera

Anne-Charlotte (Carlota), mom of two kids and of 2 fur friends with the soul of an adventurer.
Interior Designer by trade, I did my thesis on an eco-friend nightclub (yes for real). This was way before the environment had become a trend. I now share what I’ve learned about being a ‘responsible’ mom without taking myself too seriously. Once a single-mom, I completely understand the difficulties moms experience whether on a financial level or just as a parent. Even as a couple, parenting can be difficult, so on your own it can quickly become a nightmare.
I inspire other moms every day to go the off beaten path through discoveries of activities, useful products for kids and even traveling on the blog.
I try to avoid talking about trends as I’d much rather focus on durability. Creating memories with kids through traveling and activities is my motto. Doing it in an eco-friendly way and on the cheap is even better!

BEHIND THE SCENES

I stumbled into this artsy building where each flo I stumbled into this artsy building where each floor of the stairwell is unique and where artists are hard at work in their little world. A fascinating space.

It could be my inspiration for a chapter in “book 1: If only I knew” where Charlie is looking for the bathroom in an unfamiliar place after being slipped something in her drink.

🇬🇧 Coming Home After 15 Years... 🏡✨ Af 🇬🇧 Coming Home After 15 Years... 🏡✨

After 15 years away, Charlie is finally back home. It’s hard to put into words the mix of emotions — nostalgia for the familiar towns and landscapes that shaped part of her childhood.

Walking or driving down their streets, she is rediscovering old favorites while stumbling upon new places that didn’t exist when she left. It’s like seeing the past and future collide in the most beautiful way. ❤️

There’s something magical about reconnecting with home, feeling its embrace while exploring it as if for the first time.

To new beginnings and cherished memories 🕰️✨

🇫🇷 Rentrer au bercail après 15 ans... 🏡✨✨

👉When does casual become an addiction ?

Charlie did not see the path down the rabbit hole Mr. X was on. Sadly, could not pull him out in time. It was too late.

👉Have you been confronted to this?
