Using essential oils at home for some self-care or purifying your home can be beneficial in multiple ways. We’ve selected three that we use the most at home, but obviously, there are many more that you could use.

Lavender Oil (15ml)
If you were on a desert island, Lavender oil would have to be THE oil to bring along with you.
It’s a must-have for any eco-friendly lifestyle as it is known for its soothing and deodorizing properties among so many other qualities.
Allow your laundry to feel fresh by applying a few drops on your wool dryer balls or mixed it in with your homemade fabric softener.
Eucalyptus Oil (15ml)
Refresh the ambient air of your home with Eucalyptus oil. Give yourself the necessary dose of calm and motivation. Thanks to its decongestant properties, Eucalyptus oil is perfect for our cool Canadian winters.
Mix a few drops with your massage oil and apply it on the torso to soothe coughs and open airways.
Tea Tree Oil (15ml)
The main virtue of tea tree oil is its antibacterial qualities over a large spectrum.
We use it to disinfect our laundry and cloth diapers, just add 5 to 10 drops of it mixed in with your detergent.
But you can also use it for when you have an annoying zit on your forehead that seems to not want to go away. Just mix 1 drop of tea tree oil with 2 drops of vegetal oil and apply it on your zit!
